Upcoming events
Hello all.. So coming up here at the end of the Month we got some fun coming up.. I am hoping we can get a good crew from both the East and West side to attend Craic Wisely playing at the "Blue Note" here in Muskegon. Also I am going to be off work the whole week of the July 4th weekend, so I plan on starting my festivities the Saturday night of Craic, and going from there.. All those who have a distance to drive, if you want to crash a night or so here in Muskegon I am sure we can find some space at my house and if we get a bunch, well we are intelligent people! (grin).. It would be awesome to have a big ole bash to bring in the summer. I do not have any real plans set up for Saturday the 30th yet, I am going to wait til lit gets a little closer to make sure all the plans with Craic Wisely stay in line. If anyone is planning on making a trip to see them that night and wants to work something out feel free to get ahold of me! Well aside from that my son is doing fine, he has a cast and pins in his arm, but seems to be doing allright, keeping him from re-injuring hinslef is the greatest task. Have a good day all. | | Thursday, May 24th, 2007 | | 3:42 am |
Boys and their injuries!
Well I was kinda wondering how long till my son wnet and hurt himself..badly that is and that day has come. I got a call today from Heather, my son's mom, that he had hurt himslef at daycare... come to find out he had broken his arm.. seperated the joint where the elbow meets. He is fine now, he was taken to the hospital and put into surgery where they were able to put the bones back into place easily enough and give him two pins to hold it together till it can heal naturally. I am just hoping that all my friends out there could send some healing thoughts or prayers (as you wish) to my son in the hopes of a speedy recovery. Really who wants to be 3 years old and have a broken arm during the summer! Thanks all! Current Mood: tired | | Thursday, April 19th, 2007 | | 6:43 am |
Woo Update
Well it has been a while, and this probably won't be too long, as not much happens in my life. The big one is Final Haven.. we had our first event this past weekend, and at a new site. For one the new site is awesome.. I see lots of potential there. The second was that my character has finally died for the last time. The thing is it was probably the most perfec death I could have imagined for him.. he did not die against some big baddy, did not die to some assassin or political mover.. he died to a bunch of diseased Lizardmen attacking the town.. a mostly senseless death, which to me is the only way I would have had Ian die.. he is/was always a soldier and he died a soldiers death.. nothing glorious, merely doing his duty. After his death I layed in the Inn for a while pretending to be the corpse being prepared for the funeral..(Also I had woke up feeling ill that day so it was a good excuse to get a little extra rest).. After a few plots had wrapped up and I had gotten to play my new character for a little while the town held a funeral for Ian.. And I realized during that why i truly enjoy role-playing.. it was one of the most moving scenes I have ever had in a game.. to see so many show up when I had expected no one but the Phoenix.. it was amazing.. I want to thank everyone for the experience.. I doubt it will ever be topped in my life! So even though my character died, it was an awesome event for me. As for real life.. well I am still working.. still in debt up to my eyeballs, and still missing a certain someone.(grin). Till later Folks... Oh yeah also any who read this I want you to try and find someway to make it to Muskegon ( if you do not already live here) on July 7th.. I am planning on a Birthday bash at Cadillac Jacks and want to take over the bar with my peeps! So come one, come all.. ! | | Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 | | 7:50 am |

Scott's Birthday Party Jan.6
Ok, I am making a post now, just spreading the word that on Jan.6 the plan is to celebrate Scott's B-day at Cadillac Jacks. I am sure we will also be trying to get some dinner plans going before then as well, but those will be determined as the day gets closer and we have an idea of how many people would like to do dinner and the like. Other than that it was a pretty good Christmas. My son seemed to like a lot of his presents and acted very well, so that was good. I had a nice surprise by Gillian coming into town.. got to hang with her a few times before she took off..it was good! Hmmm not much else going on.. planning on watching Patrick this New Years Eve, just feel like relaxing this end of the year. Well to all hope you had a good Christmas and have a great New Year! | | Tuesday, December 12th, 2006 | | 10:37 pm |
Good Weekend
Well even though I had to work, and was feeling a little sick it was a pretty good weekend. Friday night went to work, so makin money is always good. Came home Saturday morning and got some sleep before heading over to Sam's Club to help Weso get some bulk cooking supplies, afterwards I went to my Mom's where she was watching my son. Hung out with him for a little bit even though he is in that "I hate Daddy" stage.. I mean the coolest thing he has said is "I want Daddy die!" Now there is a little back story to that, I was playing Grandia 3 at the time and he had just woken up, he came out and sat with Scott and I while I played, and as Scott and I were talking to the TV and the main character I was playing as me, so as I played and was in a big fight I was saying something like "Oh crap I am gonna die".. and he pipes up with "I want Daddy die".. it was awesome, and of course I reply back.. "Why thank you Patrick, thats the nicest thing you have ever said to me".. Yes, I know my child will never be anywhere near normal. Anyway I hung out with him for a bit before dropping him off at his Mom's and the babysitter. I went home to get ready, found out that my Mom and her hubby were going to Logans to eat, thanks to my talking about it, so I grabbed Scott and we met up with them there.. it was nice to eat out with my Mom, it has been a while. After that we headed over to Blue Note as neither me nor Scott felt like going back home, played a couple games of pool where he kicked my but a couple games. When we had arrived I had saw a few people I had seen there before, friends of Daku's. After the pool I went to talk to them, and wound up hangin with them for the rest of the night. A while later the rest of the gang showed up plus others.. Daku and company, Shanna and her friends, who it was one of their birthdays, Taki for work, Art to hang. Well I spent the night flirting with one of the three girlfriends of Daku's and it was a blast, she is quite the little blast to hang out with, I even got on the dance floor multiple times.. weird... and scary for those watching.. hehe. After the bar we came back to my place for some more drinking and general fun.. a few incidents but I do not believe anything really bad happened.. mostly physical accidents.. thats what you get for putting drinks in people and objects in the hall!.. or small stairs.. heh. Well I hope to continue this trend and continue to have good weekends.. it is nice to be in a positive mood for a change! well off to work, take care all! You are civilized, calm, and have a good sense of humor, even when those around you don't. You can hold your own in a fight, but prefer it when things don't get too exciting.

Wow, an Update!
Hiya all, been a while, eh? Well not much has been going on, doing the house thing, and working. This last weekend I went to the Detroit area for Quirina's Art show. It was quite an interesting experience. While I am not a big fan of art, and most likely biased I thought Quirina's two pieces were the best of the show. It was great to see her so happy this weekend.. hope to see more of that in the future. 2 weeks to FH, I canna wait.. this should be a fun event..hehe. Went and saw "Fearless" with Jet Li.. It was quite good, very interesting.. and subtitled.. which with the amount of anime I have watched never really bothers me. Current Mood: thoughtful | | Monday, August 21st, 2006 | | 9:16 pm |
Yep it's me again
Hiya all, been quite the busy month.. at least July was.. August has finally settled down a little. Final Haven was good, although it appeared the month previous had finally caught up to me as Saturday night was a "shut down" night for me. Quite the unusual experience for me, never had I reached that state of exhaustion before. Other than that it was a very interesting event, I cannot wait to see the repercussions of that game. This last weekend was mostly relaxing. Friday night just chilled at the bar with Scott, came home and went to bed. Saturday I went with Scott to get his new Tattoo, then we got a bite to eat and went and saw "Accepted" a surprisingly funny movie. Afterwards we chilled until we headed to the bar again where I got to spend some time with Gillian, an old friend/girlfriend, she was in town for the day for her cousin's wedding. It was great to see her and catch up on things, and quite interesting to see how she has grown as a person. Well I am off to work, hopefully this week goes quick. Talk to you all later. Weekly Update
Well it was a damn fine weekend. Spent it on the east side, had dinner with Tonia and Erika. Saturday we went bowling with Tonia's dad, and Donovan. Afterwards we went to Dave & Busters, it was a great time, the only real downer was when we found out that they had gotten rid of the batteltech Tesla pods about 6 months ago. After that we went back to the hotel and played some cards and then went home the next day. This weekend we are looking at heading to Silverleaf, me with Patrick and Tonia wants to bring Donovan, I am hoping to see if Wes can bring his children, that would be awesome. Other than that, just taking care of stuff around the house, trying to get things comfortable here. All in all Life is good! Hope you all are doing good! Fun times
Well after an exhausting weekend, I think it all went well. The party seemed to be quite the success, although it was a bit warm for people we had a lot of food, and quite a bit of booze. Even with only an hour of sleep I was able to stay going longer than I thought. It was good to see everyone that showed up. especially Kristin, Erik and Todd.. always good to see some of the folk from the East side outside of FH.. Hopefully next time we can get a few more down! I hope everyone had a good time, and can't wait to do it again.. although I will be glad to have some time to finally relax and get some stuff done around the house at my leisure. Well until next time.. Have fun all. | | Thursday, July 13th, 2006 | | 7:22 am |
Update
Well things have been pretty damn good lately. We got the House warming party coming up this Saturday.. I will have my son for part of the day but people should be at the house all day so if you feel like coming to the party, feel free to show up whenever. There will be some food and drink supplied, but if you have anything special you might want I suggest picking it up on the way in. All in all a hectic past few weeks, but very good.. Had a wonderful birthday.. Thanks! Current Mood: cheerful | | Wednesday, July 5th, 2006 | | 2:29 am |
Weekend Update
Well Fh was this weekend, and while due to an injury I sustained during the game it was still quite fun. Not even 6 hours into the game I managed to clock my head against an outcropping on the lodge we sleep in and next thing I know my head is bleeding and all that good stuff. Fortunately it does not seem to be serious, with the help of good people at Fh I got it bandaged and cared for over the weekend. Meanwhile I tried to take it easy and only got into one combat for a short time before I decided taking it easy was the better course. As for the House update I am all moved in, and now just need to get my ass in gear and unpack stuff, especially to clear some room for the 15th, when I have moved our Housewarming party to. In general things are going well, life is pretty good. Current Mood: happy |
